Worth The Money And Effort - Patio String Lights Review

By Makayla Parker

Clearly, reliability seemed to be an issue with the two patio string lights that I received. Much better than those lights with spotlights that look terrible as they are so bright. Happy with it.

I purchased a couple of these lights to go in my yard, they're amazing!

The Pergola lighting offers enough lighting in the area that makes visibility 100% better than it had been before. It operates on three D-cells but ought to last for months due to the LED bulb. One light was more than enough. I installed it on side of house were its dark, this small movement detection lights up that corner good enough to see somebody. This can help keep your polished reflector free of dirty smudges from fingerprints when assembling the light. I'd be extremely dissatisfied in this item if it cost more. I purchased this and the Fulcrum, and both of them are fantastic lights. Or else, it's tough to press the spikes on the light connector deep enough into the reduced voltage main line. Although this might work with most things, particularly outdoors where you want to direct the light, it failed close quarters in our pantry.

Also, this isn't always clear, but the beam on the Pergola lighting is really a focused, extremely narrow beam. I order this hoping that I could place this outdoor flood light alongside a bench that I brought for my backyard.

I'm certain the rechargeables won't be as durable as the D cells but so far at nearly 8 weeks they're still going strong. The screws weren't what was needed to mount it, but that's an easy and incredibly cheap repair.

I set up a couple of these lights and they work well. The other shines on the stairs coming up towards the deck, so anybody trying to come up is going to be well lit. It lights a comparatively small area - maybe about 5 feet under the light.

Had it ready to go in ten minutes. I really like its looks. Once I found this lamp in Amazon at a really low price I was just a little concerned the merchandise wasn't going to be of excellent quality but once I received it I was happy with it looks and high quality (great supplies and craftsmanship). Have two set outside coops and one inside. I'd have thought it would be at least 12 inches taller. We are purchasing a second light to cover the front side lawn. Not worth mailing back and definitely not worth purchasing.

The models usually turn themselves off after the set interval. Apart from these negatives, I believe they're extremely stylish lights.

Reading one of the prior reviews I had been worried about the mounting issues he had encountered, but I bought anyway I just needed to try it myself.
