Cheap Construction And Mediocre Brightness - Walkway Lights Review

By Mason Bell

I'll need to see how long the batteries last but to date I'm happy with the TCP lighting unit. I love it so much I will purchase a couple more to mount on the dark entry. We have had rainy and windy weather the previous few weeks, and the light worked good. I hung up today, which was super easy to do, and tested it many times. Hope my two cents helps somebody out. We'd buy these removable bollard lights again! Took some time to figure out how you can screw it into the door jamb, but once it was set up, the light is effective. During the night even when there isn't any activity it stays on for ninety five percent of the time. I finally got the batteries situated properly and the thing works.

When the mount base (plastic and I have had no issues) might be strengthened, that would be a noticable difference. I feel safer knowing that it's back there and anyone who may attempt to break in is going to be shocked when a light comes on. I heven't had them long enough to sense battery life, but changing batteries a couple of times a year isn't any problem.

For the two car garage, this TCP lighting is just right. I simply set up six of these Hadco lighting flood lights inside and outside of the house.

The light is really vibrant, even on the lower setting, that I truly could have gotten by with only one light rather than two. Recently I had a power outage at my house. I purchsed the product to install on my small patio to light up my yard.

The first I ordered has been sitting in the Seattle rain for months now, and works completely. So far as I'm concerned a bollard lighting company that doesn't supply simple replacement components is not really worth doing business with. I'd recomment this for someone looking for movement sensor lights and not searching for high lighting as this provides a decent lighting. The batteries tested good but I can't get it to turn on.

The directions explain how you can do that and the hardware is supplied.

The sensitivity is excellent and they seem well-built.

Do not waste your hard earned money on this one. I've had a lot of different motion sensing lights, mainly smaller sized units, this one is larger but has a lot more light than any I have tried personally so far.

The output is way better than I figured after reading the critiques on these walkway lights. I recommend the Dorcy 41-1071 LED Wireless Movement Sensor Flood-Lite.

Additional, they've been great for alerting us if anybody or anything enters our yard. Also lets me know when individuals walk up to my back door and it helps me to locate my keys. Apart from the trouble or returning them (Amazon makes it pretty simple but it still takes time), I have been happy with the units.
