Bright Little Light - Outdoor Recessed Lighting Critique

By Isaac Brooks

My bulbs were damaged in delivery despite the fact that I was given a $10 credit, I had to spend a week to find what I needed and paid over $15 for them. You might need other motion lights to cover it is inadequacies. The building was renovated in the 1920s as a kind of Tudor-style, and this juno recessed lighting goes with the architecture completely. I would suggest this light to anybody who wants a nice safety light. Really wish I could insert a picture to show you. These lights are reduced light dusk to dawn (it comes on in the evening and goes off at dawn) and motion sensors. Building codes can differ across the nation It is best to verify yours to make sure your installation complies. Since I have had it installed, I cannot return it. I needed to save just a little energy with the outdoor post lights.

I finally took one off the house when it didn't work 99% of times. After set up on our front porch I noted the wind blowing a nearby bush would switch on the light.

I would not quite call it a patio lantern though.

This light filled the bill precisely. The power cord is also only nine feet long, so be ready to purchase a high quality outdoor extension cord too.

Our neighbors purchased the product three weeks ago. The issue I had with it was the adjustments to affect the "how long to remain on when movement is detected" button. I had been leaving my outdoors light on at night, but needed something outside that went on in the evening, since I go back home at night. One difference is the fact that they are 2.5 watts while the previous had been 1.0 watts. I'm certain the exact dimensions were provided however I was surprised at how small it was. This is a good fixture, all metal construction with glass "windows" on all four sides. I purchased fifteen lights at $10 each and replaced the majority of my incandescent lights.

I have no knowledge of wiring, so a plug in would be a must. Once they arrived I opened the box and was happy with the quality. I switched from the two bulb dusk-dawn only full power system. Item simple to install and take the place of my previous light.

Drill a few screw holes, read directions to adjust controls and you are all done. This lamp is well-built for the cost. This low voltage garden lighting unit has a shocking amount of illumination. They aren't slotted for a screwdriver or any other tool.

The finish and also the underlying metal seem a little thin, but time will tell.
