Buying Fitted Wardrobes or Sliding Wardrobes

By Jayda K. Jovich

If you are deciding to redecorate your sleeping accommodation or perhaps are engaged in the redecoration of an entire house, there are a huge number of benefits to kitting out your bedroom with sliding wardrobes. There are always some further expenses to factor in when using sliding wardrobes or fitted wardrobes rather than a standard wardrobe, and the notion that you may need to retain a wardrobe fitter might add to the lead time of your job , however when using sliding wardrobes or fitted wardrobes the many upsides do often outweigh the few negatives.

When you've opted to install fitted wardrobes, or if there are fitted wardrobes which you are removing, sliding wardrobe doors will allow you to make the most of the space you have. This will increase the usable storage by fitting the wardrobes right up to a pointy ceiling, so as not to lose any storage space on top, or it might be to squeeze a miniscule fitted wardrobe into a room which might not in any other circumstances be able to accommodate any hanging space at all. Or perhaps you would use fitted wardrobes because you need to squeeze some storage space at the foot of your bed and wouldn't have enough space to open the door of a conventional wardrobe.

For whichever reason you do choose a sliding wardrobe or fitted wardrobe, the initial job towards being positive that your fitted wardrobe looks slick and in keeping with the other parts of your bedroom is to make sure that you record the empty space as accurately as you can. With fitted wardrobes, the putting in is essential, and to come up with a beautifully fitted wardrobe, working with a proper and accurate plan of the space is essential. This is because the beauty of a sliding wardrobe is that it can help use all of the available space, squeezing every available inch to leave you with the biggest fitted wardrobe that a small space can accommodate .

Once you have an accurate conception of the available space for your fitted wardrobe, the next thing to do is to get a definite idea of the type of fitted wardrobe that you want : does the space ensure that you must use a sliding wardrobe, or can you use a fitted wardrobe that employs more standard doors? What wood finish do you want on your fitted wardrobe? What style of handles will the fitted wardrobe have? Will your sliding doors be wooden , veneered or mirrored ? If you don't go with a sliding wardrobe, perhaps you might have mirrors on the interior instead?

The beauty of a tailored fitted wardrobe or sliding wardrobe is that you can properly answer all of these issues and end up with a finished wardrobe that is both wholly suited to your room and looks just like you want it to.
