The journey down the hall continues to be turn on a light or carry a flashlight for part of the way. When it does come on it's not nearly bright enough to light my little closet. Put anyplace and long battery life. I've had it a few weeks now and it may well be a little dimmer so I will watch and find out how battery consumption is but overall happy and so are my neighbors. Repeated it once more and it worked. You can effortlessly use your own mounting hardware as well. To mount the lights horizontally, facing down was a problem. It is actually a "flood light" because it does not have the pinpoint beams of light you'd usually expect from an LED.
Forget about stumbling in the dark! I have grandkids up and down the steps constantly, thought the batteries would need to be changed, however they last a long time. This unit has stopped working totally after a few months.
I placed it with a velcro on a single of the swing doors. Purchased two for myself! Many thanks! No problem in my case but some may want more/less then the pre-set. I had been able to get the light operating again by leaving battery door off and letting the insides dry (inside the house) for a week - I believe water was causing the circuit board within to short out. The product when shipped knocked around in the box so maybe that is what caused the issue? It was a no-brainer to set up and has an on/off switch to disable it when there is enough ambient light to not require extra. I had to touch the sensor more often than not just to get the light to come on. It worked - the region stayed thoroughly clean.
These solar spot lights are fantastic, no wiring and plenty of light when you go out or have somebody arrive. The light activates everytime it senses motion and the blue-white light is so awesome. Worked acceptable for forty days, then is started staying on one hundred percent of time.

The motion detector is effective, however the LED light isn't as bright as I believed it might be. I really like California, and this light is priceless. I reviewed it, loaded battery (not included) coupled with the thing working and screwed in (screws provided) in 5-8 minutes! In my home, I believe "I wish I had one of those movement lights here!"

It was precisely what I expected it to be. Once the second light arrived, this didn't work either. SOLAR SPOT LIGHTS. No battery changes yet on the Mr Beams and the sensor usually functions. Set up was three minutes with a screwdriver into a wood panel. SOLAR SPOT LIGHTS.
