The Garden Arbor: The Useful and Lovely Backyard Model

By Kathy Beckstrand

Getting an enchanting backyard garden has long been an aspiration of mine. To see the pretty rows of healthy vegetables thriving, or to take pleasure in the clusters of flowers that overwhelm the senses; in my group of friends, there are quite a few of us that have that fantasy. These days, I have been completely intrigued and, in truth, somewhat obsessed about one aspect to add to my home or garden collection. You know what I am thinking about, but I will say it for those who didn't look at the title. It's an arbor...a garden one to be exact. Here's my thinking.

Entrance to Your Dreams: Having a solid wood arbor as a gateway to your garden area or sanctuary creates the best change from every day life to a dream world. It stands to invite you in but it also serves as a gate to secure your sanctuary from unpleasant visitors.

Joining Together Into One: Grape vines, roses, and vegetation can't resist twisting along the intricate patterns of the arbor. If you haven't personally seen an arbor with clinging or climbing plants thriving on them, let go of everything and go look at one. Arbors were made for garden plants to thrive on and they take the breath away from all those who have a love for pure beauty.

Nothing is Finer Quality Than Wood: Whenever you get to your haven, you intend all the details to be ideal, naturally. No annoying signs or undesirable colors or anything like that. Loveliness at its finest should not be meddled with. That is why solid timber is such a fitting option of material, because it is already a genuine product and does not need to have a great deal of modifying to make it fit.

The grace and practical benefits of a backyard arbor are never-ending and I cannot wait to create it and discover just the ideal spot for my entrance. Selecting an arbor is the first thing on my garden to-do list this year. My next? What about a nice pergola....
