getting a fitted bedroom

By John Stevens

It's currently easy to have your wardrobes, draws and beds in matching materials providing you with the complete bedroom designer look in your bedroom. However don't consider paying a designer price tag because the bedroom furniture can be designed by you. There happens to be the software that will help you design your own bedroom.

Designing your bedroom is an extremely easy thing to do, the first and one of the most important things to do is to take the measurements of your bedroom. This should be done cautiously as this could affect the end fitting results you must also mark out the position of the doorways, windows and radiators.

Then the bedroom design process can start I think it's important to think about what you want in the bedroom for instance how many wardrobes and chest of draws, then you can build your ideas from this starting point, when you have a floor plan that has been drawn up take it to your bedroom to get a feel for what you have come up with.

The next storage space in the development is thinking about what internal storage you will need for your fitted bedroom furniture as good use of space on the insides of the wardrobes can increase your storage on average by about 30%. You can install pull down hanging rails, pull out trouser rails, tie and shoe rails the list is endless.

And finally you'll have to decide on what colour or type of material you're going to have the fitted bedroom furniture in; at this point it would be a good idea to have brochures and a colour chart readily available. Take the colour chart to your bedroom and pin it to the wall and see how the colours look at different times of the day this is a big decision in the bedroom planning process so take your time and get comfortable with the bedroom furniture.
