Blueair Offers Long Warranty on Air Purifiers

By Ben Burr

You should always be sure to consider a few specific issues when buying an air purifier. As with everything else in life, you want the best but at a price you can afford as well. However, with air purifiers, price may not be the most important issue. When the health of your family is on the line, we'll often spare no expense.

So why do you need an air purifier in the first place? As you may have heard, the air inside your home can be even more polluted than outside! 10 years ago the big concern was smog, CO2, and smoke from factories. We now know that there can be silent enemies threatening your health even inside your home. Micro-organisms, most too small to see, can cause allergies, irritate asthma, give you headaches or in extreme cases even cause permanent health problems!

You'll obviously want to eliminate any and all pollutants in the air that could make you or your family sick. Purchasing an air purifier can go a LONG way to preserving your families health. Unfortunately, there are so many models and features that deciding amongst them can be a daunting task. The first decision you'll need to make is which kind of unit you'll need: a portable but mobile one for use in a single room or a larger unit that can service your entire home. If you can eliminate one type of purifier right off the bat it can make your decision process go that much quicker. If you don't know what you need, you might consider visiting an informational site or review site to help identify which version is right for you.

After you've decided what type of purifier you need, you'll have plenty of makes and models to choose from. The most important aspect to consider is the filtering system. A HEPA filter is used in most models and is also used in many hospitals and clean rooms. These filters claim to pull over 99% of the impurities out of the air. You may also want to find out how easy it is to replace the filters. While you won't have to do it all that often, you want changing the filter to be as easy as possible. If you're going to really be working the unit (with pet hair etc) you may also want a unit with a pre-filter of sorts.

The best air purifiers are a bit more expensive than the others. The Blueair air purifier is one of the best, and has a long warranty. That is very important since this will be an appliance you will use very often if not 24/7.

While you may be able to find a bargain, if you just have to replace it a year or two down the road you won't actually be saving money. With a lengthy warranty like the Blueair air purifiers offer, a unit that's a bit more expensive up front may well be the best value in the long run. The last thing you want to worry about is whether or not your purifier is working properly. You just want clean air! The Blueair unit will allow you to both rest and breath easy on that front.
